Guys,stay away from this brand of ram if your thinking of upgrading or building a new system.I've been pulling my hair out the last few days chasing random crashes,program hangs and blue screens of death.This is the 3rd set in the last 18 months to go tits up on me.Lower timing modules might be ok,but the 4-4-4-12's are crap.Could have saved myself the headaches if I had thought to look at the ram 1st,but with it being only 3 months old,I overlooked the obvious.They are the DDR2 series.So far,the DDR 3 based system with the same timing's is fime.The up side is,I'll not need a haircut for a while.

There are some good mem test programs out on the net bro. Most of them contain a self-boot up program. You can leave all of the ram installed the first time to see if the problem is in the ram, after that you will need to test the sticks one at a time to isolate which stick is giving you the problem. Thanks for the heads up regarding the new Crucial. I wasn't aware they had any DDR3 out that had timings that low either. You might want to list the exact model of the ram due to the huge variety they carry so peeps can avoid that one.
