I tried this speedtest, and i got this :
from my house to Chicago server=

its not so much the bandwidth difference as it is the time it takes small packets to bounce from you to the server and back.  Latency is gonna hurt ya the more distance you travel.

Theres lots of Italian and European servers but those arent busy much when we play.  You do an amazing job playing with a high ping bro.

Something is kinda odd with your Bescia to Chicago connection cause i get 3600 kb/s (and I am very close to Chicago).  My peak to Chicago (90 miles) is about 5400 kb/s.  Might want to try that one again.

Ridiculous results, even to st. Petersburg. My ISP sucks! :spank: I pay for 1M/512k and it ain't even half of that. It used to be though and I had a decent ping. Until they 'fixed' something.
Maybe I'll change back to cable connection, these days it might work better. I used to have cable, but they screwed it up one time too many for me so I changed to ADSL.

I've also been thinking of changing to some other ISP, but the decision has been on hold because I've used the e-mail addy they provided for so many important things that I can't afford to loose it. Till I get that resolved, I gotta stick with them.

These are updated ports for version 2.8 so you need to verify you have all of them forwarded for the new version to work.
